Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure software quality. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of testing frameworks, scripting, and debugging to improve product reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and/or mobile applications.
- Execute test cases and analyze test results.
- Identify, report, and track bugs using testing tools.
- Collaborate with developers to resolve defects.
- Design test plans, test cases, and testing strategies.
- Perform regression, functional, and performance testing.
- Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure software meets quality standards before release.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts (manual + automation).
- Experience with automation tools like Selenium.
- Knowledge of programming languages like Java or Python.
- Familiarity with test frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, PyTest).
- Basic knowledge of APIs and API testing tools (Postman).
- Understanding of version control tools like Git.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Knowledge of BDD tools like Cucumber.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environment.
- Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter.
